Injection

Injection is usually the third station and process on the PSP and last before the birds reach the dump station to be counted again, released, and sorted. It is here that birds are automatically injected with a predetermined volume of medication based on hatcheries preferences. The PSP is capable of subcutaneous injection of a wide range of liquids used in the poultry industry. Liquids range from water to oil based products, and from vitamins to live virus vaccines. Nova-Tech offers different injection systems that have been specifically developed for turkeys, chickens, and ducks.
